Decompress the zip file that contains the software. Copy the file obtained at the place of your choice.
In this folder is a Mods folder that contains 2 .patch files. Copy them in the Paks folder in the Cities XL installation folder.
Launch the app.
Before anything else, go adjust your preferences in the Tools/Optionsmenu.
Important note: If you don't do all the previous points, some functions won't be active.
